“A Must Read”

I can’t believe that I read this three book series two times in one week. Jonathan Quincy Graves FLR books always have interesting stories. This series provides a gradual movement with each book leading to a great adventure. The story shows a husband and wife in love with mutual respect for each other while still employing FLR basics. It also points out how important discipline and obedience are required in the FLR family business not simply for the dominant female pleasures. Yes, there is extensive discipline (spankings) and some humiliation but it seems more real life then other FLR books I have read.
I hope this series continues. I would like to see John continue his education under the rigid guidance of Mandy and Sue. Perhaps his studies include computer science with a little computer hacking to help the family business. Also, I would like to see how the relationship between Cheryl and Kathy change with John as Cheryl’s husband.
I read these three books with Kindle Unlimited but am considering purchasing so I can read them once again, especially if the series continues. I enjoy reading books where I already know the characters.

About the Author
David Geltner is a professor at MIT where he is also Director of the Real Estate Center. He received his Ph.D. in 1989 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was a Professor of Real Estate at the University of Cincinnati from 1989 through Spring, 2002. He specializes in the areas of real estate investments, urban economics, and the financial economics of the real estate industry. He has published extensively in leading academic journals, including Real Estate Economics (formerly The AREUEA Journal), The Journal of Urban Economics, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, The Journal of Real Estate Research, The Journal of Housing Economics, and The Journal of Property Research, among others. He serves on the editorial boards of the three leading US academic real estate journals (Real Estate Economics, The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, and The Journal of Real Estate Research) and of the leading British journal (The Journal of Property Research). He is a co-managing editor of a leading real estate research journal, Real Estate Economics for AREUEA. He serves on the Academic Advisory Board of the Real Estate Research Institute, a research promotion and funding agency sponsored by the leading real estate investment firms. Dr. Geltner has consulted for leading real estate investment advisory firms including serving on the Board of Ohio based STRS.

The Best Real Estate Text I've Ever Read

This book is not for the faint-hearted or for readers who want to skim a few paragraphs and then think they'll get rich quick.
If you read this book, chapter by chapter, and do the exercises at the end of each one, you'll probably know more about Real Estate Finance than many people in Real Estate boardrooms. This will take a few weeks as a minimum, but it will have immense value.
The writers Geltner and Miller really choose to go "in-depth" with each topic, almost to the point of annoyance when you're reading it, but afterwards you realize why, and importantly, realize what you've learned by doing it.
This book is immensely valuable, and requires some work to achieve that value. It's value will be with you permanently however, because you will have absorbed the true principals of what's going on it real estate and the associated financial markets, and not just have memorized some glib cookbook answers which many people may instead be hoping for.
This is a book for thinkers and practicioners who want carry lasting value with them.

I don't know about you, but I have made my fair share of New Years resolutions (and it's about at this time of the year when those start falling apart) and I've definitely told myself "I'm going to start Monday" once or twice or 500 times, but I got nowhere with what I wanted to accomplish! It was so frustrating! After reading Nicholas's book, my eyes were opened! He so brilliantly puts into words that we are not putting ourselves first! It is so hard living in this world where we feel like we need to put our friends first or they'll get mad at us, put our boss first or he/she will replace us, or even feel like our significant other always has to come first or we believe they'll think we love them less! But, as Nicholas points out in this genius work, we NEED to put ourselves first. And once that ball is rolling, we need to keep it rolling with short term goals that keep us on track and positive motivators. By attacking your dreams with full force, you will become a happier you, which will lead to a happier life. Finally!.. Someone who understands what I'M going through, too. This book had me thinking in a new way with a fresh perspective that really hit home. It's hard sometimes to have hope when you feel so overwhelmed, but this book made me realize that you have to take the time to figure out a plan, otherwise you'll just keep going in circles and never move past your obstacles. Great, easy, fast read with practical no-nonsense information.

Similar to his first book, this one offered a unique perspective on self help that challenges societal norms. Conventional wisdom deems it appropriate to set long term goals and have a 5 or 10 year plan. Financial advisers tell you to look at the long haul and invest your money and time accordingly. This may be sound advice, but what about the here and now? What about treating each day like it's your last and living in the moment? The odds of winning the day are a lot better than the odds of winning in 10 years. Focusing too much on the long term can make us lose sight of what's truly most important: enjoying and embracing the present.

I applaud Mr. Caldwell for again challenging the establishment and encouraging readers to focus on their short term well being. Build momentum and kick every day in the ass. This book encompasses a quote that I try to live by: "The past is history. The future is a mystery. Right now is a gift; that's why it's called the present."

Excellent book

This is one of the best written books for people into natural health care. It is highly researched with sources given for every chapter. It's really too bad that some people find it necessary to condemn the works of writers who have put years into their research. Vic Shayne has more than 30 years of professional research and clinical experience in Human Nutrition. If you want to avoid fads and truly stay healthy, read this book!

One of the best books I have read about whole food nutrition and I have read a lot of them. Too many "health" books on the market are about the latest fad or vitamin. It is about damn time someone wrote a book like this. This book gives people the ability to heal themselves with real food. As someone who works with patients to help them heal using whole food nutrition, it is great to be able to recommend a book for them to read. If you want an easy to understand book, that is packed with great health information, than this book is for you.
I only wish I could give it more stars.

I finally got a chance to read this book. Read it cover to cover. Having practiced for over 30 years and always looking for well written, well researched books for patients to read to help improve their health, The Super Foods Diet hits the nail on the head. I wish it had been around to recommend to patients years ago. There are many books out there with more anecdotal information than researched facts. While most are well meaning, they can be misdirecting. Use this book as your guide through the world of quality health and nutrition

This book has so much passive voice and jargon it's almost unreadable. I can't believe my UCSD class required this. Someone needs to write a more engaging book where the ideas aren't hidden behind the jargon. I'm most frustrated because this book cost over $100. I'll try to sell it back to Amazon because it certainly isn't worth the price for a second. Get better info online.

I had purchased this textbook for an Intro. To AIG course. The writing is dry and embedded with professional verbiage that literally makes you grit your teeth as you read each chapter. I rated it a 3 star because it did provide a large amount of information on gifted learner a in education.
